All councils across NSW (with a few exceptions) have recently held their local elections. That means that there is
likely to be a significant number of new Councillors elected. They will all be on a very steep learning curve over the next few months getting a clear understanding of all of the roles, responsibilities, functions and operations of their council. The issue of weed management will be just one of hundreds they will have to get their head around.
This is both a challenge and an opportunity!
