Expression of Interest to host the 16th NSW Weeds Conference

Submissions are being called to host, participate in the organisation and conduct the 16^th NSW Weeds Conference in 2011. The closing date for submissions is Thursday 1 April 2010.

In the past submissions to host the Conference has been called for from throughout NSW and ACT. However a new format is being proposed where the Conference location is rotated around NSW with the state being divided into four appropriate divisions, two east of the Great Dividing Range and two to the west. Primary rotation would be from east to west division, then north to south division (see attached map). In turn each of the state divisions will be given first priority to host the Conference. Should submissions not be received or the submissions received are not successful, the other divisions will then be given the option to put in a submission.

For the 16^th NSW Weeds Conference 2011 primary submissions are being requested from the Northeast Division.

It is envisaged that future Conference primary submissions will be called for in the following sequence Southwest, Southeast, Northwest and then finally back to the Northeast Division.
