Bunnings under fire for sale of Noxious Weed

Mexican Feather Grass
Retail chain Bunnings is being investigated by Victoria's Department of Primary  Industries,  after selling almost five-thousand pots of a banned noxious weed to its customers since January.

DNA analysis confirmed that Mexican Feather Grass, or Texas Tussock, had been incorrectly labelled in Bunnings stores.

The weed, which spreads quickly and damages native grasses, was also discovered at a Victorian Big W outlet earlier this year.
