NSW Invasive Species Plan – now available for use!
The NSW Government has recently endorsed the NSW Invasive Species Plan.
The NSW Government has developed the Plan to ensure that by 2015 there will be a reduction in the impact of invasive species in NSW.
As the lead agency for the Plan’s development, NSW DPI consulted with over 188 groups and individuals to ensure comprehensive input into the process. They were pleased to receive over 45 written submissions. These comments were taken very seriously and considered at length by the Steering Group, a reflection of the group’s commitment to stakeholder participation.
The final Plan provides a framework to allow Government, Industry and the Community to work together to better manage invasive species in NSW. The Plan is consistent with other existing national and NSW strategies. The Plan can be viewed at

Copies should be distributed to all weed managers – if you haven’t received and would like a copy go to…..
